Playing Mommy

Well, for the past 5 days, I have played mommy for my 9 year old nephew while my brother and sister-in-law were in NYC. It seems like I never get to see my nephew and so it was great getting to spend so much time with him. Friday I went up to his school for his Christmas pizza party, where I think I was either roped into the PTA or library volunteer. Well, not really, but I definitely was a member of the carpool line. Chris came out and spent time with us and he and my nephew really enjoyed each other. I was relieved that there was someone to play Xbox with him! We also saw King Kong which was good....really long, but pretty good. So, it was a good weekend and after Chris left, my nephew told me "I can't wait til he might be my uncle! He'd be the best ever!" It was really funny and cute...haha. So glad I don't have a 9 year old boy right now....
